Hi, I’m Kristin, the main creative behind Desert Bloom Photo + Travel Co. I offer photography, videography, and inclusive travel planning that’s rooted in real-life experience, storytelling, and heart. As a mom of three and someone who truly understands special needs, accessibility, and everyday chaos, I believe every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.


Whether I'm capturing your vows, your babies, or your dream vacation,

I’m here to make sure it all feels possible.


Before launching Desert Bloom, I worked as a caregiver for group homes with special needs as well as operated an in-home daycare provider between lots of customer service roles while raising my oldest before COVID-19. That experience shaped how I approach everything I do today, with empathy, flexibility, and a strong understanding of physical, developmental, and sensory needs.


I'm currently earning my degree in elementary and special education through Western Governors University and have recently completed state training for Caregiving, Home Health Aid, and a few other certifications that help me with helping others as best as I can. As a parent of two neurodivergent children on the spectrum, I bring both personal and professional insight into how I support families and clients, and want to help my own children with their daily living.



I’m also a certified travel advisor through CLIA with specialized training from leading travel partners. I plan trips for families, couples, and solo travelers that are sensory-friendly, size-inclusive, and designed to meet each person’s unique needs. Whether it’s an all-inclusive getaway, a Disney vacation, or a romantic escape, I help you travel with confidence and ease.


I also offer full-service photography and videography for weddings, elopements, maternity, family sessions, and more. My work is about connection, and capturing honest, emotional moments in a way that feels relaxed and true to you. Whether it’s a cinematic wedding film or photos you’ll treasure for generations, I’m here to document your story with care.


When I’m not behind the camera or planning someone’s dream trip, I’m usually spending time with my boys, trying new places myself, or baking fresh sourdough in the kitchen. My life is full of motion, joy, and purpose, and couldn't ask for anything better!

Every time I document a couple's vows, plan a magical Disney vacation, or help a mom book that first trip with her kiddos,

I bring my whole heart. I've been there. I've needed things to be more accessible. I've wanted affordable options that do't feel like settling, I've learned to make magic anyway, and now I use those lessons to help others do the same.
