Travel Booking Questions
How far in advance should I start planning a vacation?
It's best to start planning 2 to 6 months in advance depending on time of year. If you're looking to travel during spring break, summer, holidays, or school breaks, those dates book up fast. Planning early gives you better pricing, more availability, and time to customize the perfect trip.
Do travel prices stay the same?
No, pricing can change frequently based on demand, season, and availability. I do my best to lock in the best value based on your specific needs, but prices aren't guaranteed until you're ready to book.
Do you plan trips outside of the U.S.?
Yes! I plan vacations to Mexico, the Caribbean, and international destinations. Whether you're booking a beach honeymoon, a family-friendly resort, or something more adventurous, I can help make it happen.
What about Disney or larger trips like cruises or international travel?
For bigger vacations with more moving parts or higher costs, I recommend starting 6 to 18 months in advance. This is especially true for Disney parks, cruises, and international getaways. Booking early helps with availability, budgeting, and making sure you get the experiences you really want — like special dining, park reservations, or ideal cabin or resort choices. If you book with me, I will automatically apply any BETTER promotions that may come out prior to your vacation, and handle all the other logistics.
Are there better times of year to travel?
Yes. Every destination has its own peak and off-season. Some months have better weather, fewer crowds, or lower prices. I’ll guide you on the best time to go based on your location, travel goals, and flexibility.
Can you help with cruises and theme park vacations?
Absolutely. I plan cruises, Disney, Universal, and even combo trips that mix theme parks with relaxing resort time. I also help with airport transfers, excursions, and more.

What types of photography sessions do you offer?
I offer lifestyle sessions for couples, maternity, families, newborns, branding, and more. I also specialize in wedding and elopement photography across the U.S. and destination locations.
Do you help with posing or outfit planning?
Yes! My sessions are relaxed and guided. I’ll walk you through movement and prompts that feel natural. I also offer outfit guidance upon booking.
How far in advance should I book a session?
I recommend booking 4 to 8 weeks in advance, especially during fall, spring, and holiday seasons when dates fill quickly. Should you need a payment plan, I'd recommend as far in advance as you may need to ensure payment is paid in full by the due date prior to the session.
How many images are included?
This depends on the collection you choose. Each session includes a curated gallery of high-resolution, professionally edited images, with upgrade options available.
Videography faq
Do you offer videography services?
Yes! I offer full videography coverage for weddings, elopements, and sessions. I also offer business or other event videography and content creation. You can book video on its own or add it to any photography collection, as long as we have the availability.
Are short films included in any sessions?
Yes. A 1 to 2 minute short cinematic film is already included in my Timeless and Legacy photography sessions. These are perfect for capturing emotion and connection in a storytelling format.
What is your videography style?
My style is cinematic, emotional, and focused on real, unscripted moments. I use music, movement, and storytelling to create highlight films that reflect your personality and connection.
Can I book videography without photography?
Yes. You can book video on its own, or as part of a photo and video combo collection. I offer flexible options depending on your needs.
Can I add videography to my wedding or event coverage?
Absolutely. Short films and full-length wedding video coverage are available as add-ons to any wedding, elopement, or event collection. I’ll help you choose the coverage that best fits your day if we have it available.
Let’s Talk Weddings
How far in advance should I book?
I recommend booking your wedding 6 months to 2 years in advance. This allows time to secure your preferred date, plan the perfect coverage, and ensure travel or vendor details are handled without stress. Popular wedding months and weekends fill up quickly, so the earlier, the better.
Can I add videography or a second shooter?
Yes, you can customize your collection to include videography, a second shooter, or both. Videography is available as an add-on for cinematic teaser films, highlight films or other emotional films. I also offer second photographer coverage to make sure no moment is missed. Both are based upon availability, and not guaranteed.
How does the booking process work?
Once we confirm availability, a signed contract and non-refundable retainer officially lock in your date. From there, I’ll send over a planning guide, session or wedding prep tips, and stay in contact with you throughout the planning process.
Do you offer weekday or nontraditional weddings?
Absolutely. I love weekday weddings, backyard celebrations, intimate events, and unique love stories. If you’re planning something outside the traditional mold, let’s talk — I’d love to hear about it.

What collections do you offer?
I offer three regular wedding collections with different coverage options. Each one is designed to fit a variety of wedding types, from smaller ceremonies to full-day celebrations. If you’re looking for something unique, I also create custom collections based on your timeline, location, or vision.

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I photograph weddings across the U.S. and internationally. Travel details are always clearly outlined ahead of time, and I take care of my own arrangements so your day stays focused on you.
What’s the turnaround time for our photos or videos?
You’ll receive a few sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding or event day. Regular session full photo galleries are delivered in 3-4 weeks, and weddings, events or elopements are delivered within 12 to 16 weeks.
If you’ve booked Vow & Voyage or opted for expedited delivery, turnaround time will be shorter.
Highlight films or larger video products are typically delivered within 16 to 18 weeks.

What is Vow & Voyage?
Vow & Voyage is my all-inclusive elopement experience, created for couples who want a wedding day that’s focused on adventure, connection, and freedom. It includes full photo coverage, travel planning for both you and me, vendor suggestions, timeline guidance, and officiating if needed.
Is travel included in the quote?
Yes. All travel for myself and both of you as the couple is included in your custom quote. I handle lodging, flights, and transportation so you don’t have to worry about a thing. If you're adding guests, I can assist with optional travel planning for them too.
Do we have to be super adventurous for this?
Not at all. Your adventure can be as simple or wild as you want it to be. Whether it’s a Jeep ride through the Grand Canyon, saying vows at a hot spring, or finding a quiet beach at sunrise, I’ll help you plan something that matches your pace, comfort, and personality.
Can you help with planning and logistics?
Yes. I assist with your entire elopement day and travel experience, from helping you choose the right location and time of year, to booking travel and building out a stress-free timeline. My goal is to make this feel simple, meaningful, and unforgettable.
How far in advance should we book?
Six to twelve months is ideal, especially if you want a specific destination or season. I also accept last-minute bookings when available, so feel free to reach out.
How is this different from a traditional wedding collection?
Vow & Voyage is not designed for banquet halls, churches, or large guest lists. This is for couples who want to exchange vows in meaningful places like mountaintops, beaches, deserts, or hidden gems. Unlike standard wedding collections, this experience includes full travel planning for the couple and myself. It's built for flexibility, adventure, and storytelling—something personal and free from formal expectations.
Can we bring guests?
You’re welcome to include a small number of guests. However, I recommend keeping it intimate so your day stays flexible and focused on you. Larger groups can limit access to certain locations and shift the energy of an otherwise carefree experience.
Can we do something different like a cruise, road trip, or destination beach?
Yes. This is what Vow & Voyage is all about. Whether you’re dreaming of a tropical getaway, a national park elopement, or something unconventional like a cruise, I’ll help make it happen.
Can you officiate our ceremony?
Yes. I’m legally ordained and can officiate your ceremony in most locations. If a second witness is required, I can provide or help coordinate that too.
What’s the turnaround time for photos and video?
You’ll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours. Full elopement galleries are delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. Highlight films are delivered in 16 to 18 weeks. Priority editing is available if you need it faster.
